Through my lens, I bring to life the breathtaking beauty of ice crystals forming and disappearing in an instant.

I’m Jill Greer, a Minneapolis-based photographer capturing the fleeting beauty of frozen Ice Bubbles. With over 35 years of experience, my work reveals the intricate patterns that form in the brief moment before each bubble freezes and disappears.

Working in temperatures as low as 20 below zero, I document these delicate transformations with precision and timing. My images preserve what would otherwise be lost in an instant, celebrating the quiet magic of nature—and inviting others to reflect on the beauty around us and embrace each extraordinary moment.
